Albacove Water Lily Sketch - T-shirt

This year I developed a bit of an obsession with water lilies. The colorful flowers, the round leaves, and the reflections and transparencies in the water are such a comforting subject for me; I feel very comfortable when I paint them. I made this little sketch on a train journey with tempera paints and a couple of brushes, and it's one of my favorite sketches in this travel journal.
