“Angelology” is a series of designs inspired by the oldest representations of angels found in biblical and apocryphal texts, such as the Book of Enoch, Ezekiel, and Revelation. Unlike the idealized image of the Renaissance angel, these illustrations explore the strange, abstract, and sometimes unsettling forms in which these entities were originally described: beings full of eyes, living wheels, multiple wings, and impossible structures.
The designs visually reinterpret these figures through high-contrast compositions, organic patterns, and repeated symbols that evoke the divine, the unknown, and the incomprehensible to human perception.
